Motocaddy was the top-selling push trolley brand last year and has grown its market share further in 2021 to 53% across on and off course channels. The latest figures show the brand is 145% up in sales YTD and 112% up on units sold in the same time period. The success comes largely down to the popular CUBE model which has more than double the market share (37%) compared to its nearest competitor (15%). Motocaddy also has two other push trolleys inside the top-5 most popular models - the P1 and the Z1 – while the CUBE also tops the charts in units sold (34%), selling three times as many units as its nearest competitor (11%). The latest data also indicates that sales of Motocaddy electric trolleys have increased 118% YOY and 86% in units sold during the same period. “Obviously, we’re delighted with the sale figures and I’d like to pass on my thanks to our valued retail partners for their continued support of our brand,” said Motocaddy CEO, John Helas. “Since its launch in 2017, the CUBE has been our best-selling push trolley and the reaction from retailers and golfers has been exceptional since it first hit the shelves. The boom in golf participation has been great to see and we anticipate the current sales trend continuing for the rest of 2021,” he added. The latest CUBE push trolley includes a fresh modern design, game-enhancing features and generous storage compartments. Compact and simple-to-fold thanks to its two-step folding system, the award-winning model offers an ‘easy-push’ height adjustable handle and a foot parking brake. Additional features include a new durable rubber handle and friction-free oversize wheels to easily manoeuvre around the course, along with a folding lock and compatibility with the pioneering EASILOCK™ bag-to-trolley connection system, removing the need for a lower-bag strap. Featuring a graphite frame and wheels, the Motocaddy CUBE - which is 40% smaller than traditional push trolleys - also incorporates a host of storage options, including an under-handle net; drink and scorecard holders; an accessory console; an umbrella holder attachment; and space to hold spare tees and balls. The lightweight (6.9kg) P1, includes a thicker frame for ultimate stability and a one-step folding system allowing the trolley to be ready to use in seconds. It also includes the same comprehensive game-enhancing features found on the smaller CUBE, plus an easy-push, height adjustable durable rubber handle.
